About Kelly
School Counselor
Kelly is starting her 10th year as the school counselor at Voyageurs Expeditionary School. She holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling from St. Cloud State University—Go Huskies! What she likes most about her work is that each day brings a new challenge, and she feels honored to support students through their unique journeys.
Outside of school, she loves camping on the North Shore with her husband and their 12-year-old golden retriever, Dakota—who also happens to be one of the emotional support dogs at VES. She’s also embracing her newest and favorite title yet: Gramma.
