About Kari
Middle School Language Arts
Kari Olson is a dedicated middle school English teacher who has spent the last 13 years shaping young minds at Voyageurs. With a deep passion for language and literature, she brings creativity, patience, and enthusiasm into her classroom every day. Kari’s commitment to her students and school community has made her a valued and inspiring presence in education. When she doesn’t have her nose in a book, she can often be found in her vegetable and flower gardens, nurturing her plants with the same care and attention she gives her students.
Outside of the classroom, Kari lives in Bagley with her husband, Mark. Recently, she entered an exciting new chapter of life—her “Grammy Era”—with the arrival of her first grandchild, Maxine. Balancing family, gardening, and career with love and joy, Kari embraces each role in her life with warmth and dedication.
