Food Service
Danny joins Voyageurs Expeditionary School for his first full year as both Food Service Coordinator and Custodial Worker. At 42, Danny brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a strong work ethic, having spent many years in the construction industry—ranging from commercial caulking in Minneapolis to peeling logs for a log home company in Walker, Minnesota. Though his professional journey began in law enforcement studies and shifted to human services, his heart has always been set on working closely with youth and giving back to the community in meaningful ways.
Danny is passionate about supporting students in a safe, clean, and caring environment. He believes in leading with compassion, empathy, integrity, and authenticity—qualities he brings to every task, whether it’s serving meals with a joke and a smile, keeping the school spotless, or offering a friendly word in the hallway. A deep respect for the planet and all its inhabitants drives Danny’s commitment to service, and he’s proud to be part of a school that shares his values and mission.
